The height of any milliner’s dream is to one day be featured at a high profile millinery event like the Royal Ascot. Eme, while still in her 20s captured the attention of the international; press for her outstanding designs at the Royal Ascot a remarkable three times in 1991,’92 and again in ’96.
Following this stunning debut, Eme’s designs became hot property, gaining widespread international publicity featuring in no fewer than nine international fashion and lifestyle magazines as well on CNN, ITV and BBC. She was also interviewed in UK on BBC radio’s spice taxi program in 1991
The Royal Dempter known as Britain’s Royal Magazine used Eme’s 1991 Ascot creation worn by her to advertise the 1992 event. Royalty Magazine featured her creation alongside three others, including the hat worn by Princess Diana, as the best at Ascot 1991.
Eme’s talent was becoming the talk of the town, leading to a job offer at the world famous hatters, Herbert Johnson of New Bond Street joining a team of young designers handcrafting designs for European Royalty. In 1992, Eme was among the 15 top British milliners chosen to showcase their work at the first annual Chelsea millinery Show organized by Rose Cory the Queens mothers milliner during the London Fashion Week
Ever keen to build on her phenomenal natural talent, Eme continued to perfect her skills under Rose Cory, personal milliner to Her Majesty the Queen Mother and described by Harpers & Queen as the milliner of milliners’.
Eme returned to Nigeria in 1993, to set up john3v3 Hats. She rapidly established a reputation as the leading milliner not only in Nigeria but the entire region producing headwear for a number of first ladies on the African continent and countless celebrities’.
She has since then continued to lead the millinery trends in Nigeria. Constantly innovating and creating iconic items and is unquestionably a leading light in Nigeria’s booming fashion industry.

Eme’s international reputation continues to grow and she was appointed personal milliner to US lifestyle Coach Gloria Starr based in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
Eme has exhibited her stunning creations at the prestigious Burjuman International Millinery Exhibition; Dubai’s from 2011 – 2014. Her works enjoyed wide press coverage in magazines in the UAE, and was interviewed on the NBC1 morning show, FM radio in Dubai.
Her works have been worn by Royalty, several celebrities and women of style at famous Dubai World Cup from 2011 – 2014.
Eme, is focused on and committed to continuing the international; development of J3V3 Diffusion and sees growth in Europe. The USA and other parts of the world as being vital for this.
She is married with 2 children.
